Yoga Pants, Yoga Pants, just plain Yoga Pants, at this point you probably know where this is going. With the explosion of the Yoga industries there is no shortage of companies offering their interpretation of yoga through the means of fashion. In many ways they are this this bridge from our mats to our daily lives; yoga pants. I know it sounds silly, but don't be shy! I know on occasion you have had the thought; " can I wear these yoga pants to this black tie event tonight???"
With that in mind I would like to introduce a newer apparel line I have become an ambassador for, Altar Ego Apparel -www.altaregoapparel.com , not only do they offer an O'Mazing array of product but their story is what drew me in. They are based just north of Boston, Mass. and they take the influence of art in their design to enhance the look and appeal of the clothing, all while expanding the depth of the body wearing them. They are produced locally, so yay for the USA. Also they are an all female run company; more yay!
I just received a few pairs the other day, and I'm in love. The print on the pants is absolutely stunning, and comfort is O'Mazing! Please check them out, if you are interested in a picking up something use my code ESSENTIALLYOM for a 15% discount off your purchase.

Surrender to the All Knowing
How can we surrender to the greater unknown?
How can we connect to the higher power in our life?
First we must set ego aside, doubt aside and fear far behind us.
Once we can surrender to that which is greater than us, and realize we are here to help, to serve and to honor one another, maybe life can have more joy, more happiness, more love and maybe even more faith. There isn't anything scarier than not knowing what may happen in our life, but once we can put faith and trust into our life, we can feel secure even though the ground below us may feel shaky or cause us to fall. Connect to our source, whatever that may be and know that we will always be OK! For the Universe wouldn't let it be any other way.
What does this mean exactly?
Does it mean to accept and love people for who they are?
Or does it mean to accept and love people for who we want them to be?
Does it mean to accept them only if they believe the same way that we do?
Or does it mean to accept them for what their beliefs are?
Because we all have different thoughts, desires, dreams and beliefs, can we ask ourselves an honest question? With out the ego in the way, with out "our way or the highway" glasses on, and really ask wether or not we live from our heart and accept everyone for who they are, and not who we want them to be?
We would save a lot of heartache, hurt feelings and judgement if we did just that. And while we're at it, can we check in with our own self acceptance? Let us live from a place of never ending love today, cast fear of the "difference" of the unknown to us aside and just embrace one another? I accept you, I accept me, may we practice accepting each other today, and everyday.
